Membership is open to all individuals who are engaged in travel, transportation, lodging and associated professions. If you are new to ABTA and have not previously been a member, please fill out our online Membership Application. If you are a current member and want to renew, go to the 'Members Only' section and fill out a Dues Renewal form. If you are not a current member, but have been a member in the past and would like to rejoin, please contact us at 512.356.7154 or info@austinbta.org.
Why Join?
- If your company is contemplating establishing a travel department, this association will provide you with the resources and the contacts to make that a reality.
- If your company already has a corporate travel department, this association can benefit you and your company through the information-sharing process and networking with others who share the same needs and responsibilities.
- Travel dollars are typically the second largest controllable company expense. ABTA can give you expert advice in setting up and maintaining your company's corporate travel program.

Membership Types
There are three basic types of membership in ABTA - Direct, Allied and Student/Educator.
Direct (aka "Corporate") members are employed by their companies with the responsibility of managing travel costs/policies, and monitoring transportation and travel services. Direct members may run for office and participate in association elections.
Allied members represent companies providing travel-related services such as airline, hotel, car rental, travel cards and travel management services. Allied members may run for office and participate in association elections.
Student/Educator members represent those associated with local high schools and universities, and who are involved in the learning or teaching of travel industry related careers, or those that are encouraging future interest and education in the business travel industry. Student/Educator members are not eligible to run for office or participate in association elections.
2010 Membership Rates
Annual membership is based on calendar year renewal and may be pro-rated by half years. Any event fees are in addition to the annual dues.
Direct: $100.00 per year
Allied: $150.00 per year
Student/Educator: $150.00 per year
Note: Memberships are "owned" by the company or individual that pays for them, and may be transferred to other individuals for a $25.00 processing fee. |
